itinerary:

Day 1: Embarkation - Basin Kadilnaja - Isle Olchon

In the early morning transfer from Irkutsk to Listvjanka. Embarkation at 10.00 a.m. The captain and the ship's crew introduce themselves. After the instructions concerning safety on board as well as further important information the first breakfast on board. Arrival in Basin Kadilnaja (nature protection area) about noon. After the lunch (which will take place on the beach in case of nice weather) guided tour in the scenic surroundings. Subsequently (by request) the Russian banja with tea made of the Baikal herbs. At 07.00 p.m. sailing for the settlement Chugir on the isle Olchon. Dinner on board. Time at your disposal (by request sauna, dvd's, parlour games).

Day 2: Isle Olchon – Encounter a shaman – Walking-tour – The shaman cliff

Breakfast. Arrival at the isle Olchon. Onshore a shaman is waiting for you, who later on will allow you to participate in a shaman dance. Afterwards a walking-tour on the isle with visitation of the shaman cliff which belongs to nine sanctuaries of Asia. Returning to the cruise ship with a boat. After lunch a jeep-tour with a picnic (amongst other things is a fish soup) /optional. Returning to the ship. Dinner. Sailing for little isles of Uschkan.

Day 3: Isles of Uschkan - Lake Baikal seals - Lake bosom of Tschivirkuj - Snake Bay - Holy Nose Penninsula – Night Fishing

Arrival at the little isles of Uschkan. Today, early in the morning, you have the opportunity to go on excursion to the berths of Nerpas (Baikal seals). Payment on location (cash). The little isles consist of diverse marble rocks. It is a nature conservation, so in order to get there permission of the nature park administration is needed. Sailing for a Snake Bay. Breakfast and lunch on the way aboard. Then arrival at the Snake Bay. The Snake Bay is known for its thermal springs. By request you can swim in the hot springs (temperature between 32 – 45 degrees above zero). Water of these thermal springs is used for several treatments at a health resorts and spa areas. Dinner aboard. In the evening sailing for the Holy Nose Penninsula. Free time (sauna, dvd´s etc.). Optional offer: night fishing (00.00 – 3.00). Afterwards sailing for the Pine tree bay.

Day 4: Pine tree bay - Ajaja

About 9.00 a.m. Arrival at the Pine tree bay. After the breakfast you come off the ship, a boat will bring you to the land in about 30-40 minutes. Walking-tour. Lunch during the tour (packed lunches). About 6.00 p.m. returning to the ship. Dinner at 9.00 p.m. Sailing for Ajaja. Free time.

Day 5: Ajaja - lake Floricha - Settlement Dawscha

In the morning arrival at Ajaja. After the breakfast it´s time to come off the ship again. Day trip to the lake Floricha. Packed lunch. About 18.00 p.m. returning to the ship. Dinner. Sailing for Settlement Dawscha.

Day 6: Settlement Dawscha – Akadem Bay - Baikal dunes

At 07.00 a.m. the ship will land on pier of the settlement Dawscha. After the rich breakfast you are going off the ship in order to take part in a walking-tour in the pictoresque surroundings with a gamekeeper. Lunch on board, then it´s time to move on. Now we are sailing in the direction of Akadem Bay and Baikal dunes. Dinner as customary at 07.00 p.m. Afterwards you have free time.

Day 7: The akademicheskaja Bay (Akadem Bay) – The View cliff – Bay Babushka – Sailing for Listvjanka

Breakfast. Time to relax. Lunch. In the afternoon at about 04.00 p.m. arrival at the Akadem Bay. Walking-tour: you can choose either 1. the View cliff (2,5 hours, 260 m.) or 2. the Bay Babushka (1,5 – 2 hours, it is a very diversified route). In case of nice weather the dinner will take place on the water´s edge of Baikal. Between 8 and 10 p.m. there is a time for Russian banja with a herb tea (optional). Returning to the ship. At 11.00 p.m. sailing for the settlement Listvjanka.

Day 8: Listvjanka – End of the journey

After the breakfast the crew and the captain say goodbye. Transfer from Listvjanka to Irkutsk.
