Description of the trip:

DAY 1: ARRIVAL in TBILISI. TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL

DAY 2: TILISI - DAVID GAREJI - SIGHNAGHI

After breakfast xou will drive to semi-desert of David Gareji. It is the most important and the most beautiful monastery located in the semi-desert. The complex is a cultural and religious center with many cave monasteries. Here you will have the opportunity for the observation of the following birds: European Roller, European bee-eaters, Hoopoe, western Rock Nuthatch, wallcreeper, Egyptian vulture, griffon vulture, Rock Sparrow, Chukar. The tour will continue in Saghnaghi. Overnight in Sighnaghi.

DAY 3: SIGHNAGHI - IORI PLATO - TBILISI

Drive to Bodbe monastery (VIII-IX c.). There is located the grave of St. Nino. She has introduced Christianity into Georgia. The tour will continue in Iori plateau. Here you can observe the following species of birds: Black Fransolin, Pygmy Cormorant, Eastern mperial Eagle, Cinereous Vulture, White-tailed Eagle, Short-toed eagle, Rollr, European Bee-eater, Hoopoe, Western Rock Nuthatch, Griffon Vulture, Chukar ans so on. Drive back to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

DAY 4: TBILISI - BORJOMI

Drive to Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Borjomi is a famous resort town in the southwestern part o Georgia. The citiy is located at the confluence of three rivers - Mtkvari, Borjomula and Gujaretiszkali. The city is located at 800-900 meters above sea level and is bordered to the east with Bojomi-Khragauli National Park, which includes part of Small Caucasus. This is a one of the largest national parks in Europe. Here numeroues species of endemic flora and fauna. In the park you can see the following birds: Black Grouse or Blackgame, Snowcocks, golden eagle ec. Overnight in Borjomi.

DAY 5: BORJOMY - KOLKHETI RSERVE - UREKI

Go drive to Kolkheti nature reserve. The landscpe of the nature reserve is unique in Georgia and covers the coast of the Black Sea and Lake Paliastomi. The biological diversity of nature will impress the visitor strong. This area is a paradise for hikers. Here many birds stay to survive the winter. You can also discover the birds that are included in the Red List. The Kolheti National Park offers 2 different routes: 1. Cruise on the river Tschuria and 2. A boat ride - Paliastomi-Pitschori. Tour Duration is one day. The best route fr birdwatsching. This is a place visited by 150 species of birds. Overnigt in Ureki.

DAY 6: KOLKHETI NATIONAL PARK - BOAT ROUTE PALASTOMI - FITSCHORI - UREKI

After breakfast cruise: Paliastomi - Fitschori. Length of the trail 18 km. Duration of track 3 hours. You will enjoy the look of the beautiful scenery of lake Paliastomi and can observe there different species of birds. There is a place for the picnic along the river Fitschori. Each boat is accmpanied by qualified ranger. Overnight in Ureki.

DAY 7: UREKI - BATUMI CITY TOUR

Trip to Batumi. The city is located on the coast of the Black Sea. The founding of the city has long history and is connected just with Greek colonists. Batumi today is the most beautiful city on the Black Sea coast. The boulevard of the city is the longest ans most beautiful on the Black Sea. Visit the Botanical Gardens in Batumi, Gonio Fortress and in the afternoon you will ake a walk in Batumi. Overnight in Batumi.

DAY 8: BATUMI - MTSKHETA - TBILISI

After the breakfast Drive to Mtskheta (UNESCO Heritage Site), an ancient capital of the Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5t century AD. Jvari Monastery (6th c.); Svetitskhoveli Cathedral built in the 11th century. Overnight in Tbilisi.

DAY 9: TBILISI CITY TOUR

Today we will visit the old Tbilisi Suflur Baths, the Trinity Cathedral Georgian Orthodox and Armenian Gregorian churches as well Jewish snagogue and a Turkish mosque side by side, reflecting Tbilisi's acceptance and tolerance of different religions. Visit Narikala Fortress. Folk dinner at National restaurant in Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE
